JOB DESCRIPTION 

To provide support throughout the recruitment, on/off-boarding, and other HR processes, and with employee activities and communication. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Work with the management team to evaluate resource needs, recruiting strategy, and job requirements
  • Post and maintain job positions in job boards, company website, etc.
  • Work in collaboration with other recruiters to identify candidates for open positions
  • Review resumes of applicants, pre-screen candidates against job requirements, and pre-select qualified applicants for management review
  • Conduct initial screening, and ensure all applicant documentation is received and complete
  • Ensure paperwork and documentation received is collected and stored accordingly
  • Manage and maintain tracking files, recruiting documentation and candidate information
  • Submit pre-selected candidates through to hiring manager and through recruiting systems for review
  • Work with hiring manager to review pre-selected candidates. Assist in scheduling interviews, and sending interview information to candidate and hiring managers. Prepare documentation needed for interview assessment
  • Manage communication with applicants and prospective candidates
  • Provide assistance with documentation and communication throughout the pre-employment process of selected candidates
  • Build a pool of prospective candidates.
  • Set up candidates for pre-employment testing (e.g., background check, drug test, reference check)
  • Assist in the execution of pre-employment activities, including collecting employment documents, preparing documentation and communication for new employees, and setting new employee up in internal systems
  • Prepare, track, and report on recruiting and HR metrics as needed.
  • Provide support with on-boarding activities
  • Represent ITC, Inc. at job fairs, recruiting events, summits, etc.
  • Coordinate internal training programs and other engagement and retention efforts
  • Manage employee communication, e.g., employee announcements, monthly newsletter
  • Coordinate employee termination process and activities. Manage communication and ensure paperwork is completed
  • Provide support with employee performance review process and communication
  • Maintain personnel files for all employees. Conduct audits as needed
  • Act as a first point of contact for employees on procedures, policies, and other questions
  • Assist in coordinating timekeeping records for payroll processing
  • Organize employee events, manage communication and event coordination activities
  • Prepare, track, and report on recruiting and HR metrics as needed
  • Build relationships with college placement offices, alumni offices, and college engineering departments.
  • Promote customer satisfaction and retention through effective employee relations management.
  • Promote employee retention through support and engagement.

 

 REQUIREMENTS: 

  • Bachelor or Associate degree in Human Resources, Business, or similar field is required
  • At least 2 years of recruitment/human resources job related experience is required
  • Recruiting experience in a manufacturing/production and engineering environment desired
  • Excellent communication skills (both verbal and written)
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to build trust, maximize relationships, and interact with employees are essential
  • Experience using Microsoft Excel and computer software is required
  • Good planning, time management, prioritization, and organizational skills are essential. The ability to multi-task and handle competing priorities with deadlines are required
  • Must be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and driven
  • High energy and a demonstrated ability to implement and get results are essential
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment, and have strong collaboration skills
