  • Create, update, and provide manufacturing instructions in the form of production routings, gage lists, standard work, and in-process drawings
  • Responsible for process CI cards (Continuous improvement) which would include updating processes, purchasing items needed for operations (tooling, gages, lifting devices, etc.), and others
  • Control machining process to ensure that engineering drawings are designed for manufacturability and conducive to an efficient process
  • Conduct monthly standard work audits
  • Analyze part requirements and make recommendations for manufacturing process, training, equipment needs, and engineering support, as needed
  • Create and maintain PFMEA and Control Plans
  • Conduct Management Review Meetings and attend/assist Material Review Board Meetings
  • Main point of contact for quality for shop floor and customers
  • Input deviations from non-conforming material to engineering
  • Manage/follow test lots through value streams for exit inspections/capability studies
  • Create and maintain Infinity SPC projects
  • Champion PPM and scrap reduction
  • Engage in creative problem solving to address operational issues including: ergonomic/ safety, efficiency improvements, process bottlenecks, quality concerns
  • Work with internal/external customers and partners to develop and manage projects to ensure efficient and cost effective systems and processes to produce quality products
  • Coordinate with Operations to define best practices and resolve complex manufacturing issues
  • Train new operators on the standard work and develop training programs
  • Work with operations, tool design, programmers, engineers etc. to ensure proper development, implementation and support of engineering activities


  • Bachelors degree in Manufacturing, Industrial, Mechanical Engineering or similar field is required
  • Must have 2+ years of experience in the manufacturing industry
  • Basic knowledge of CNC programming and G Code is required, experience preferred
  • Knowledge of tool selection, fixture design and 3D modeling is desired, experience is preferred
  • Must have good blueprint reading skills and experience with GD&T
  • Applied knowledge of PFMEA and six sigma techniques is preferred
  • Analytical, technical, and problem solving skills
  • Strong organizational skills
  • High energy and a demonstrated ability to implement and get results are essential
  • Detail oriented with troubleshooting and project leadership skills
  • Strong ability to handle a high workload and manage priorities is required
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills required
  • Must be self-directed, self-starter, and be able to multi-task and prioritize
  • Must enjoy working in a team environment, and have strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
